Introducing...

Involvement:

At UNI I was heavily involved in clubs and activities that helped develop not only my passions but life skills as well. For two years, I acted as a Resident Assistant (RA) under the Department of Residence. As
an RA, I was able to assist fellow students in their college career by connecting them to appropriate
resources, fostering a safe and welcoming community, as well as individually developing students in
both professional and personal aspects. I have also held leadership positions through Campus Ministry.
My roles presented me the opportunity to invest in the spiritual lives of others while also using this
opportunity to develop myself.

Interests:

My two greatest interests are the outdoors and serving people. If there is any activity in nature, you can count me in. This can range from going on hikes, swimming in the ocean, to playing any sport with a ball. As for serving others, this has always been a passion of mine. I come from a humble family life and it has taught me what it means to help those in need. During the summer of 2017, I was fortunate enough to experience a service project overseas in Indonesia. On this trip, I was able to embrace the people and their culture by living alongside them and serving them through various projects in their villages.

Lifestyle:

I would not be pursuing a career in Math Education if it was not one of my biggest passions and lined up
with my life values. I live my life to invest in others and provide them with the tools necessary to create
the best trajectory for their future. I want to encourage, affirm and assist those around me to be the
best “them” they can be. Whether that be teaching them values, giving advice, being a listening ear, or
tending to their specific needs. Everybody looks up to someone and I want to be that someone for
people.
